This is a true oasis in Havelock! Amazing and delicious food! The chef was very open to customizing the dishes based on our taste and dietary requirements. Highly recommended this hidden gem of a restaurant. Come chill and hangout to some great vibes and wonderful service

Amazing food and amazing hospitality. The pasta was rich and delicious. Must try the pumpkin soup. One of a kind. We didn't have the cab back to our hotel and Aditya himself offered to drop us back to the hotel. Next level hospitality !

Attached to the Gypsy Divers resort, this cozy café will remind you of classic travelers cafés from Goa, Pondicherry and Dharamshala. They have three dogs (one of them was a puppy they hadn't named yet), and plenty of books, board games and puzzles to keep you engaged while you wait for your order. They also offer diving sessions, and have a private beach attached to the resort if you just want to be by the sea. The food was tasty and the staff super friendly - even though we arrived pretty late they were accommodating of our order and ensured we had a good time. The veg pizza especially was lip-smacking and enjoyed by both my parents who aren't big fans of pizza in the first place. The owner is a friendly guy who runs cafés in Himachal and Goa, do strike up a chat with him if you're interested to learn more about Havelock and the diving scene there. Definitely worth a visit if you're visiting Havelock island any time!

I was here in Dec'24 and must say this place is amazing. The vibe is personal, make it what u want, you control the Playlist. The food by Chef Adi is superb. He himself is a travelled soul with many stories to share with you. Yes, don't forget your free desert if you are staying at gypsy! ;-)

We absolutely loved Cafe Lava! We stayed next door at Gypsy and it was perfectly located for us to roll out of bed and enjoy a delicious breakfast each morning. Aditya and his staff were incredibly friendly and even helped me organise a 30th birthday cake for my boyfriend, Max. I sent through a photo for reference and the cake turned out exactly as I’d hoped! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is really lovely and we would highly recommend the khachapuri and the pizza!

The cafe is managed very innovatively by Chef Aditya and team. They serve the best pizza there, its a must must try! For breakfast, try the kanda poha and pancakes! Also, the shakshuka served there is yum! The chef makes note of even a minute request and gives it his best expert hands! The cafe has a smooth warm vibe , you are open to play songs read books, meet people , will makes you spend your evenings there!
